Terms and conditions of hire.

The operator of the bouncy castle must be a responsible adult over the age of 18 years.

This person must ensure the correct age of user is allowed on the bouncy castle.

No smoking in or within close vicinity of the bouncy castle and its accessories.

Do NOT attempt to move the bouncy castle once secured in position. Only trained personnel can move the bouncy castle.

The operator must ensure no more than the recommended number of users are allowed on the bouncy castle at any one time.

The operator must ensure the correct height of the user is adhered to at all times.

Socks are to be worn at all times but no shoes, spectacles, sharp objects or food allowed on the bouncy castle whatsoever.

Party poppers, streamers or silly string are strictly forbidden in the bouncy castle. The dye from these objects can stain the equipment. The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused by the use of these objects on the bouncy castle.

The operator must be positioned at the base of the bouncy castle, where the front step is located, to ensure the safety and well-being of the users. A whistle must be used at the first sight of misbehaviour/horseplay.

Acrobatics/somersaults are strictly forbidden in the bouncy castle. The operator must be aware users must simply bounce up and down with no pushing or climbing on any part of the bouncy castle.

Larger, more boisterous children should be separated from smaller ones, using a rotating system for using the bouncy castle.

The operator must ensure the unit remains intact and should regularly inspect the bouncy castle and its anchorage for any signs of loosening. In the event of failure, all users have to be safely removed, and the bouncy castle restored to safe operation.

Accidents must be reported in the relevant accident book, including dates and accounts of what occurred and signed by the injured third party representative.

Weather conditions are to be monitored, taking the bouncy castle out of use when wind speeds exceed 24mph. Heavy rainfall should result in the bouncy castle being taken out of use and electrical equipment unplugged.

The blower is to be checked regularly to ensure it remains in place. In the event of loss of pressure, the operator must check that no rubbish is restricting the fan from its operation. No member of the public should have any access to the blower or its electric sockets.

In the use of petrol blowers, the fuel must be stored in an appropriate container under lock and key. In the event of re-fuelling, the bouncy castle must be deflated and the public at a safe distance.

Seams and zips must be monitored for any tears.

The hirer will be deemed to have inspected the equipment and any accessories and will have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless brought to the attention of Leeds Bouncy Castle Hire when erecting the bouncy castle.

The hire period will have been agreed by email prior to delivery of the bouncy castle. Any obstruction by the hirer or their guests will be charged at £25 per hour or part of.

Please treat our equipment with respect. Mistreated, overly dirty bouncy castles, when being collected, will incur a £40 cleaning charge.

Public liability insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee. Whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.

Leeds Bouncy Castle Hire excludes any liability for injury, loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to our terms & conditions.

Whilst the equipment is in the hirers’ possession and control. Liability for injuries or other losses caused, rests solely with the hirer. It is strongly recommended that the hirer has appropriate public liability insurance, covering his/her liability arising from the use of our equipment.
