Chris & the team was fantastic when I hired a bouncy castle and ball pool for my son’s 5th birthday party 🙌🏻 They arrived promptly ready to set up as agreed and cleared up and collected away by the time needed! I don’t write reviews often but just wanted to say absolutely fab service from the team today. The bouncy castles were clean, arrived on time and were of really good quality. FANTASTIC! Leeds Bouncy Castle Hire provided a bouncy castle for our son’s birthday party today. Communication was quick and professional throughout. Arrived on time and set up was quick. The castle was pristine. So polite and the castle went down a treat! They even gave my son a birthday card which I think is such a lovely thought. Frequently asked questions.

How much notice do I need to give to book a bouncy castle?

As much notice as possible. During busy times we get booked up in advance, so let us know as soon as you have a date in mind, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do you charge for cancellation?

We do take a £20 booking fee to be paid within 48 hours of your booking to secure the date. If you cancel your booking at less than 7 days’ notice, 50% of the hire cost is required. Cancelling within less than 2 days’ notice requires full payment to be made.

How do you inflate the bouncy castle when you have delivered it? Will I be able to put it down?

Our bouncy castles are inflated using electric fan blowers. They are simply plugged in to a suitable socket in your house or outside a building; we supply a 25m extension cable and power breakers for all castles. To deflate the castle, simply unplug the fan, and it will slowly collapse (make sure nobody is using the castle at the time!). We would prefer that you leave the castle inflated.

What happens if it’s raining or particularly bad weather on the day of hire?

If the weather is bad/raining then we will call you to say whether we will be able to deliver or not. If you decide not to go ahead with the booking due to bad weather please let us know first thing on the morning of the hire. We will be able to transfer the £20 booking fee to another date if cancelled. However, once the equipment has been delivered, and it rains later on during the hire, there will be no refund, and the full hire price is required.

Is parking essential?

Parking is essential for booking. If there is not parking within 50m, this will delay setting up and our drivers have the right to refuse delivery.

How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?

Each bouncy castle or inflatable has a different required space. Please read the description of the equipment you are hiring to see what the operating space requirements are.

What kind of access do you need when you deliver the bouncy castle?

The bouncy castles are wheeled into position using a sack trolley, so we will need a cleared path to get the castle into your garden or venue. If you have a lot of steps or a narrow entrance, please let us know so that we can assess the access.

Can the bouncy castles go indoors?

Yes, the bouncy castles can go indoors, but you must check the height of the ceiling before booking. The ceiling must be higher than the height of the inflatable booked. Heights of all our products are on each item description.

Are you fully insured? If a child gets injured, who’s to blame?

We carry £5 million pounds worth of public liability cover. However, as per our terms and conditions, we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the bouncy castle or inflatable is in your care. Our Public Liability covers us against set-up faults or faulty equipment etc.

When the bouncy castle is delivered, do I have to set it up myself or do you do it?

The delivery person will set up the inflatable, give you a demonstration on how to use it safely and then leave it in your control. We will then return at the end of the hire to dismantle and collect the unit.

How many children/adults are allowed in the bouncy castle?

Each bouncy castle has different limits. Please note children’s bouncy castles should never be used by heavier adults, and remember the hirer is responsible for any damage.

Is it OK to put a bouncy castle on my lawn? Will it cause a lot of damage?

We actually prefer to put the bouncy castle on the lawn area. For safety reasons, we must hammer in 6 securing pegs to hold the castle down during use. The bouncy castle will have a ground sheet placed under it, so the grass will not come to any harm. The holes left over from the securing pegs will disappear after a few days.

Can you put a bouncy castle on a concrete floor?

No. For safety reasons, we do not allow our castles to be placed on hard standing floors outdoors, i.e. concrete, decking, tarmac. If we can’t peg the castles in the ground, we won’t be able to place them there.

Am I allowed to hire a bouncy castle from you and then charge people to use it?

Yes you are, but there will need to be a responsible adult (18+) supervising at all times. As the hirer, you are responsible for any damage or injury that may be caused.

How many children can fit in a bouncy castle?

This really depends on the size of the children and the bouncy castle itself. Most of our bouncy castles go by a height limit rather than age, and our adult bouncy castles typically have the largest capacity. Please see the item description for the height limits.

Are your units safe? Will you teach me how to have a safe day of fun?

Yes, they are designed from the ground up with safety in mind. In addition, we review all safety rules with you prior to use. While no one can guarantee safety, we do everything we can to promote safe use of our products to ensure your day is filled with fun, not hospital visits.

How much does it cost?

Prices start from £85 for a children’s bouncy castle. All prices are on our website.

What if it rains?

All our bouncy castles come with shower covers and all our extended leads are fully showerproof. Extended showers won’t stop play! In the event of torrential rain we may have to cancel the booking if the castle is outside.

What are the appropriate ages for bouncing?

We cater from toddlers to adults with our adult bouncy castles.

My garden slopes – will that be OK?

No. The surface has to be level.

Does it need electricity? How much does it use?

Yes. We will bring a 25m extension cord with us, so you’ll need an outlet near the set-up area. The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.18 of electricity per hour. Your blow-dryer uses more than that! NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.

What time do you deliver and pick up the bouncy castle?

Rental periods vary. You decide on the specific time you want the bouncy castle set up by, and we’ll have the equipment set up before that start time. It only takes approximately 20 mins for a children’s bouncy castle to be set up and ready to go. If you have special requirements for an exact setup or pick up time, (for example, your event is in a location that you have rented for a specific amount of time) please let us know.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office is open 7 days a week. 8am-9pm.

My party is tomorrow. Can I still get a castle?

Maybe! Give us a call and we will try to work it in.

Can I keep the bouncy castle overnight?

No I’m afraid we do not do overnight hires.

Is it cheaper if we pick up the bouncy castle ourselves?

No. In fact, Leeds Bouncy Castle Hire does not allow for this. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified by us to be the exclusive installer of our equipment. Our insurance requires that our installers do an on-site inspection as well. Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.
